Why domain ownership matters
Your domain name (e.g., yourbusiness.com) is your brand identity on the web. Some agencies register the domain on your behalf, but under their name, which can cause issues if you want to transfer or leave later. At Axora we believe you should always own your domain outright. That’s why we encourage you to register it yourself with a registrar like Namecheap, GoDaddy or Porkbun. We’ll guide you through the process if needed, but the domain stays under your account so you have full control.
What about hosting?
Hosting is the server space where your website lives. There are hundreds of providers with different pricing and performance levels. Rather than bundling hosting into our promo price and locking you into our infrastructure, we let you choose. This transparency ensures you get the best deal and aren’t tied to a specific provider. We typically recommend reliable, affordable hosts like Netlify, Vercel or DigitalOcean for static sites like ours. The monthly cost is usually a few hundred pesos or less.
How we help
Just because we don’t include domain and hosting fees in the 333 and 555 promos doesn’t mean we leave you stranded. We assist with domain registration, DNS setup and connecting your domain to our deployed site. We also set up a free staging URL so you can preview your site before going live on your own domain. Our goal is to give you independence without making the tech setup daunting.
Budgeting for domain & hosting
Domains typically cost around ₱500 to ₱1,500 per year depending on the extension (.com, .ph, .net, etc.). Basic hosting for a static site can be free (Netlify free tier) or less than ₱300 per month on many providers. Because these recurring costs vary, we separate them from our build fee. This way, you can pick a plan that matches your budget and upgrade as your traffic grows.
If you already have a domain and hosting set up, we’re happy to deploy your new site there. If not, we’ll help you pick the right provider. Either way, the domain and server remain yours—no lock‑in, no hidden fees.
